Optional Profile Attributes
Somnifa offers an optional feature in Settings that allows users to voluntarily provide profile attribute information to help improve service quality.
Voluntary
Providing attribute information is entirely optional. All core service features remain available regardless of whether you choose to provide this information.
Purpose of Use
- Personalizing displayed content (e.g., prioritizing relevant ideas)
- Market analysis and service improvement using anonymized aggregate data
Visibility
Profile attribute information is never shared with other users. It is used solely for internal processing within the service.
Changes & Deletion
You can update your responses at any time from the Settings page. Attribute information is deleted when your account is deleted.
Third Parties & Data Processors
We do not share or disclose your personal information to third parties except in the following cases.
- With your consent
- When required by law
- When necessary to protect life, body, or property
- To contracted service providers necessary for service delivery (with confidentiality agreements in place)
Main Data Processor
- Supabase, Inc. (United States) — Database, authentication, and storage infrastructure. Stores and processes email addresses, hashed passwords, and posted data. See supabase.com/privacy for their privacy policy.
Cookie Policy
Somnifa uses cookies and similar technologies to improve service convenience.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some service features may not be available as a result.
We may also use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics to analyze usage. Information collected is anonymized and cannot identify individuals.
Security
We take measures to prevent unauthorized access, data leaks, tampering, and loss of your personal information. We employ industry-standard security technologies (including SSL/TLS encryption) and conduct regular security audits.
Passwords registered via email authentication are irreversibly hashed using the bcrypt algorithm. We never store or view plaintext passwords.
Access, Correction & Deletion
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, please contact us via the contact form. We will respond within a reasonable time after verifying your identity. Some information may be retained for legally required periods even after account deletion.
Children's Privacy
This service is not intended for users under 13 years of age. If we inadvertently collect information from users under 13, we will promptly delete it.
